MTech
Hello Mudit,
As a chemical engineer, you have great options ahead if you get a good GATE score in CH. Alternatively, if you want to go for a computer/IT related career then I would not recommend you completely to go for GATE CSE because mostly all PSUs and colleges accepting GATE CSE need a bachelor's in CSE/IT.
So rather than putting an effort for a new subject understanding the basics of it, you can learn new courses online to upskill yourself that will help you get onboard with IT companies and the bachelor's degree doesn't really make a difference there.
Hope it helps, Good Luck!!
Dear candidate, when you face the real life scenario to match this fast paced world you need make yourself better than others. Along with your B.Tech in Robotics and Automation degree if you have additional M.Tech, that would boost up your chances of selection. Although if you are capable to clear the interview then US company will offer you good jobs even if you have only B.Tech. But as I said M.Tech degree would increase your opportunities.
All the best!!
