Hai I got AIR under PwD rank 229 in clat can I go for Counciling and can I expect NALSAR hyderabad

Prachi Kumari 10th Dec, 2024

Hello,

Based on your AIR under PwD rank of 229 in CLAT, here’s an analysis:

  1. Counseling Eligibility : Yes, you are eligible for counseling with your PwD rank, as the CLAT counseling process includes reserved categories like PwD.

  2. NALSAR Hyderabad :

    • NALSAR Hyderabad generally has a higher cutoff for PwD category, but it varies annually.
    • Previous year cutoff : The PwD cutoff for NALSAR was around 130-150 for All India Category, and your rank of 229 might be close to the lower end of the cutoff range.
  3. Probable Outcome :

    • While your rank is competitive, securing admission to NALSAR Hyderabad is uncertain due to the unpredictable nature of cutoffs each year.
    • However, you can still expect admission to other top NLUs under the PwD category.
  4. Action : Participate in counseling and explore options at other NLUs as well.

You can also use the CLAT college predictor tool to predict which college you can get based on your score or rank.

Hope it helps !

Question : Directions: In the question,a sentence is given with a blank to be filled in with an appropriate word. Four alternatives are suggested for each question. Choose the correct alternative out of the four alternatives.
Children below the age of fourteen should be _______ sent to school.

Option 1: compel

Option 2: compulsory

Option 3: compulsively

Option 4: compulsorily

Team Careers360 6th Jan, 2024

Correct Answer: compulsorily

Solution : The correct answer is the fourth option.

It indicates that something is required or mandatory, often by law or regulation. It is the most appropriate choice, which indicates that it is mandatory for children to attend school up to the age of fourteen.

The meanings of the other options are as follows:

  • Compel: It denotes forcing or making someone do something against their will.
  • Compulsively: It describes the act of doing something as a compulsion or an irresistible urge, which is not the intended meaning in this context.
  • Compulsorily: This adverb is the appropriate form of compulsory and means that something is done in a required or mandatory manner.

Therefore, the correct sentence is: "Children below the age of fourteen should be compulsorily sent to school."

Anamika Vats 30th Jun, 2022

Dear aspirant,

I am assuming this query concerns the five year BA LLB (Hons) academic programme. If not, please correct me in the comments.

You have very strong chances of getting into NALSAR university of law through CLAT counselling .

Although, it can not be fully predicted, as the cut-offs depend on a variety of things that change on a year to year basis, in 2021 the cut-off rank for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidate for NALSAR University of Law was All India Rank 2884.

I hope this helps! Best of luck!
