Hey Santosh,
You didn't complete your question but yes you can write JEE when you are in an engineering college and if you get an IIt or NIT, you can take admissions but you have to check with the office of the college you are in because they may ask for money and the fees you've payed will not be given.
Hello Aspirant.
Congratulations on securing this rank.
Well with this rank you might not be able to get any IIITs, NITs or GFTIs.
For better understanding, I would suggest you to visit the links I am providing to get information regarding the branchwise cutoffs of different NITs, GFTIs and IIITs in the previous years. Having said that, I will also say that the cutoffs vary every year depending on the number of candidates, their ranks, the number of seats available, etc.

Yes, you are eligible as per as the above criteria.
Thank You & All the best!
Hello Jaswanth Bayyani,
Looking at the previous years rank vs marks for getting admission into the NITs through the counseling process after JEE Mains, getting an NIT at an OBC category rank of 36,000 seems improbable. You should wait for spot rounds and see what happens. All the best.
Hello Aspirant,
Since it is too late to answer your query. I hope you have checked JOSSA seat allotment till 5th round. With this percentile you might have the chance to get a seat in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs. You can stay tuned with us for your further queries.
Hello siddhant,
As per the JEE Main Eligibility, You should have obtained a minimum of 75% marks in class 12 or equivalent exam or they must be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 examination. For SC/ ST, the eligibility is to obtain a minimum of 65% marks in class 12 or equivalent.
