i have scored 150 in nata, and 71%in 12th and I m Maharashtrian belongs to OBC category (female) can I get admission in Sir JJ college of Architecture Mumbai

gauravvijayvargiya399 27th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Seeing your NATA score and category, and previous years cutoff trends, there is a fair chance of getting admission into this college. But every year the cutoff varies depending upon your category, 12th marks , seat availability which is less otherwise and exam difficulty level.

Since, this college comes under your home state quota and also you are a female, so, chances are even higher. Because, cutoff for females are lower than that of others and also including home state criteria

Hope that helps. Good luck

I am not from gujrat and i scored 76%in my boards and 155 in nata can i get admission in cept in university given that Ill be applying in obc qutoa

madhur 27th Sep, 2020
Hello aspirant ,
I'm CEPT university score is calculated by summation of halfved of both board score and nata score.
The cutoff of the collage nearly remains around 80-85 .
There are total of 80, out of which 50% are reserved for state students.
On calculating your score will account to 115.5 .
Therefore there are very high chances of yours clearing the cutoff.
For more information about the university you can refer the link given below-

I hope this helps.

with 112 Marks in nata and 81 percentile in jee can I get cept university

Naija Bansal 26th Sep, 2020

Hi there,

For CEPT University:

There are approx 80 seat for B.Arch in CEPT University among which 40 seats are reserved for Gujarat candidates and other 40 for all India candidates .

Regarding the marks in NATA which is an exam of 200 marks. Out of that 200 marks you need to score at least 70 marks to qualify for the application for admission as per the previous trends.

In the boards you need at least 50% marks. 50% of 12th Score and 50% of your NATA score sums up to your merit.

According to past trends, around 80 merit score. So for admission into this college you need to have minimum score of 120 in NATA exam.

Do check out our JEE Mains College Predictor for B.Arch here: JEE Mains B.Arch College Predictor

Hope this helped...

Good Luck !!

I Have A doubt previous year nata examination drawing test is paper based but this year part a and part b both are computer based can you tell me how the drawing test will be done on computer

Akram Khan 17th Aug, 2020

Hi,

The Nata exam will consist of two papers or parts that is  Part A and Part B.

Part B includes MCQ on logical reasoning and general aptitude.

Part A will includes cognitive skills for drawing and visual composition test.

The pattern of question for this will be as -

Question 1 shall be PTQ type and carry 17 Marks (4 choices each with variable marks) totalling 17 marks

Questions 2, 3 & 4 shall be PTQ type and carry 16 Marks each (4 right answers; each right answer 4 marks)

totalling 48 marks

Question 5 to 10 shall be MCQ type and carry 10 Marks each totalling 60 marks.

So as the question will be prefencial type question(ptq) and MCQ one does not need to draw on paper.

Hope you find it helpful

My NATA score is 173 and my CBSE score is 95% (2020). Can I get into CEPT or any of the best colleges in India?

ABHIK SHAW 26th Sep, 2020

Hello,

Based upon the information that have provided you final NATA merit score as per calculation is

NATA score= 173/2 = 86.5

CBSE percentage= 95

Final merit score= (86.5+95)/2 = 90.75

Based upon your final merit score you seem to have good chances of admission at CEPT University. However there are 80 seats in total , 40 for Gujarat students and 40 for All India students. The competition is quite tough. Also if you are applying under home state the chances are always higher than All India cutoffs.

The cutoffs are yet to be released for this year and they are based upon various factors.

All the best!!

Thank you.

Hi, Nata score is 115/200, state board score is 73.3 percentage can get B Arch in anna university please advice

Tunir Sikdar 26th Sep, 2020

Hi Radha,

Normalization of NATA marks will be done on the basis of exam results. You can normalize your score by using the below method:

You scored 115 in NATA and 73.3% in your boards,
then the normalized score will be 115/2+73.3=130.8

This is your composite score. Your admission in college will depend on this composite score.

Also you have not mentioned your category.

You can find more details at:

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nata-result

I think it will be tough for you to get admission in Anna University, especially if you do not belong to any reserved category.

Hope this helps!
