will the score obtained in keam added with nata for providing admission?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 25th Jun, 2020
Hello,

Admission through KEAM B. Arch is completely based on NATA score and qualifying exam only. Authorities will not conduct any separate entrance exam for KEAM B.Arch.

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national level undergraduate exam which is conducted by Council of Architecture (COA) for admission to 5-year B.Arch programme. Through NATA , you can get admission into B.Arch courses offered by Government, Government-aided, Private Unaided, University Departments and Deemed Universities of the country.

I hope this helps.

i have obtained 45% in mpc and 64% aggregate in inter 2nd ,am i eligible for nata? and which colleges accept admissions without nata or jee mains paper2?

S. Saha Student Expert 22nd Jun, 2020

The eligibility criteria for NATA says that the candidate should have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. But you have 45% marks in PCM, thus makes you ineligible for the examination. For admission to B.Arch, you have to pass either in JEE Main paper 2 or NATA to get into B.Arch. Or you may appear for state level entrance exams like UPSEE etc. Some colleges which don't take admission on the basis of Jee Main paper 2 and Nata score-

  • Bundelkhand University, Jhansi
  • G.L. Bajaj Group of Institutions, Mathura
  • Forth Dimention College of Architecture, Saharanpur
  • Axis Institute of Architecture, Kanpur
  • ITM School of Architecture and Town Planning, Lucknow
  • Sunder Deep College of Architecture, Ghaziabad
  • Apeejay Institute of Technology School of Architecture and Planning, Gautam Buddh Nagar
  • R.R. Institute of Modern Technology, Lucknow etc

But for admission to this colleges you need to write entrance exam.

Sir/Madam, COMEDK and NATA are scheduled on the same day that is 1st August, can the dates be changed?

Rajashekhar M 28th Jun, 2020

I wrote to Comedk helpdesk bringing to their notice that both Comedk/NATA are scheduled for 1st August and since NATA was scheduled already Comedk need sto re-schedule, and the reply email received that Comedk is scheduled on 1st August and no mention about they can / cant reschedule. There should be some rule made at some level, that the entrance exams should never clash at least at the national/state/regional levels.
