is it possible to join b.arck by writing only jee mains paper-2 without attempting NATA? or is NATA mandatory to join b.arch in any college?

S. Saha Student Expert 17th Jun, 2020
Yes, You can get into B.arch with only Jee Main Paper 2 scores. It is not mandatory to write Nata for admission to B.Arch or B.Plan. Like NITs, SPAs offer admission on the basis of Jee Main paper 2. There are many colleges which offer B.Arch on the basis of NATA Score. But if you are asking about any particular college then it depends on the college how it takes admission- on the basis of Jee Main or Nata. As you haven't mentioned the name of the college, it is difficult to predict.

jee, nata and other exams are necessary to join any colleges.is it necessary

rajaman9300 Student Expert 11th Jun, 2020

No it is not necessary until and unless you want to join any government institute like NIT's, IIT's or any college considering JEE marks.

You can freely opt out for JEE or NATA exam as there are various other entrance exam's out there conducted by various institutes like VITEEE, SRMJEE, Manipal Entrance, LPUEE, Amritha Entrance exam, West Bengal JEE, OJEE, etc.

All the best!!

Hello student,

As of this year, the IITs have dropped the 12th board criteria. So you don't have to worry about the JEE. Just focus on the exam and prepare well for it. The cutoff will decide whether you can get a seat or not. The seat also depends on which branch you opt for. As different branches has different cutoff marks in each college.

All the best!

how to change exam center for NATA exam now?

Pankhuri Kumari 7th Jun, 2020
Hii!
Sorry, but you can't change the centre alloted to you for NATA 2020. You need to fill the exam centres carefully. The candidates are provided 3 preferences for the centre choice. If a candidate chooses Dubai as the first option, he / she is not given any other option.
Else, there are 3 options to be chosen carefully. You are alloted centre based on those choices.
So, once chosen, you can't  request for any kind of change in centres.
Hope you understand.
Good luck!

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 7th Jun, 2020
Hello,

The final merit list of NATA is declared on the basis of your 12th board percentage and NATA scorecard.
And if you have appeared for improvement exam for 12th, then you improvement marks score will be taken into consideration for final list and ranking.

I hope this helps.

If Karnataka PU board % is 72, what is the nata score required to get admission into any architecture college in Bangalore

Sharon Rose Student Expert 17th Jul, 2020
Hello,
You need to score hte minimum cut off marks to qualify in NATA so as to get admission in a college accepting NATA score. In 2020 the cut off is that you need to score minimum 25% marks in part A and minimum 25% marks in part B. Part-A is for 125 marks so you need to score at least 32 marks and part-B is for 75 marks so you need to score at least 18 marks. This is subject wise cut off you also need to score the overall cut off which will be declared after the concluding the exam depending on number of candidates appeared, performance in the exam and other such factors. You need to score 50 or above to qualify and to get seat in a decent college in Karnataka you need to score minimum 110-120 or marks because cut off depends on the institute you are applying for and each category has different cut off. Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, number of seats available etc.
