National Aptitude Test in Architecture
Hello,
As pointed out by several candidates who are appearing this year's NATA, they have been facing the same problem. They have not appeared for NATA in April and now want to appear for NATA July whereas all the universities including GGSIPU are accepting April NATA marks now as their counselling would begin soon. However do not worry as these reputed universities must publish notices on their website regarding July NATA counselling in the near future. And also the validity of your NATA score is that of two years. And of the five attempts in NATA the best one would be chosen. Hope this answer helps!
Hello Tanisha,
Firstly congratulations for your rank inWBJEE. And secondly YES, you can get a seat in Jadavpur University for B. Arch course. Since you have also cleared NATA it won't be an issue to get admission in B. Arch course. However the cutoff for 2019 may vary but still you could get the seat. As per the data of 2017, the maximum closing rank was 17524 for B. Arch course in Jadavpur University. So according to that data you have high possible chance to get your choice of seat.
However in my opnion you should not only wait for a seat in Jadavpur University. There are lots of good colleges in India offering B. Arch courses and since you have cleared NATA , you can try for those colleges too. You can also go through this link and checkout the list of top architecture colleges in India : https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-b-arch-colleges-in-india
Hope this helps you . Good Luck !!!
nata score will not be considered for admission in west bengal government engineering colleges. with this rank you may get mechanical engineering in kayani government engineering college in the mop up round. you will surely get mechanical in jalpaiguri government engineering college in round 2 or 3 .
You would be delighted to learn that both MAH CET and Indraprastha University or GGSIPU as known in Delhi accepts valid NATA score for admission into the university college's B. Arch. courses. There is a certain weightage given to 10+2 Boards examinations results being 50% and the rest of the 50% weightage is given to your NATA score. Hope this helps!
Hello ,
Different colleges in India have different fee structure. It is pretty obvious that studying in a Government college is way less expensive than in a private or self financed institute. So please check the fee requirement of the required college on its official website. Also NATA qualified students have to pay around 66k to 2 lakhs for admission into B. Arch. depending upon college to college. Hope this was helpful!
Dear Reader,
As you know NATA is being conducted twice a year and both the exams hold equal values. Students are allowed to appear in one or both the attempts. The purpose behind conducting it twice is to avoid the date clash with board exam of many students.
Different counselling is conducted after both the exams. So don't worry about your admission. If you qualify the july NATA exam you will be eligible for admission. Stay updated with the links mentioned below.

Sir, i understand your query
But,
The participating institutes of NATA conduct separate counselling sessions.
To be eligible for counselling conducted by these institutes, one needs to qualify NATA 2019. In other words, the candidate has to meet the aggregate and also component-wise minimum marks determined for the exam.
Each institute is free to decide their own counselling norms, so the mode and process may vary from one institute to another. For example, apart from the eligibility criteria prescribed by COA, the candidate will also have to meet any additional eligibility criteria that the institute may demand.
There are some 477 institutes that offer admission to their B.Arch courses based on NATA scores.
The documents required for counselling are as follows :
Admit Card of NATA 2019
Score Card of NATA
Mark sheets and pass certificates of Class 10 and 12
Category Certificate (if applicable)
Medical Certificate for PwD Certificate
Residence certificate (if applicable)
Transfer certificate (if applicable)
The candidate also must bring with them two sets of photocopies of the above documents.
So, the counselling for different colleges are taken differently as some colleges are as follows :
VIT UNIVERSITY
SRM
PES
CHRIST UNIVERSITY, BANGLORE
Jawaharlal nehru fine arts and architecture
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi
KIIT
CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY
