hi, i m akanksha soni i have scored 63% in 12th board and i scored 81 in nata but in drawing portion i got only 19 mark

Arnimesh 3rd Jun, 2019

hey there,

Well NATA has its own cutoff criteria, and the 10+2 criteria also.

you need to score more than 50% in your 10+2 if you are from general category, for other cstegories it is 45% and above.

The NATA cutoff is mostly 80 out of 200 for general category,so you must score above 80,and for the drawing part you must score atleast 20 out of 80.

It might be difficult to get a good NATA college but,you can still try.

All the best!

is it necessary to register for all architectural colleges while applying for nata 2019?

Anushri Gupta 3rd Jun, 2019

Hello Ishika ,

Well not all but you should apply to all the top ranked colleges taking addmission through NATA. You can shortlist a few colleges you aspire going to and apply for them. All colleges have different cut offs according to their standards. They require atleast 50% marks in 12th PCM and a valid score in NATA.

Hope this information helps. Good luck.

Nishant Rathore 13th Jul, 2019

Hello Hitesh,

Since the EWS category is introduced for the first time in NITs admission procedure, it's difficult to predict exactly the permutation and combination with respect to the the EWS category rank. However you should expect a seat in NITs maximum till 6,000 EWS rank if possible. All the best.

I have scored 51% marks in 12th and PCM I have 47% . NATA I have scored 120 marks. Can I get admission?

Anushri Gupta 3rd Jun, 2019

Hello ,

For addmission in B.Arch , the colleges generally require 50% marks in 12th oberall PCM stream , and a vaid score in NATA. Some other colleges also consider a ratio of 50:50 of 12th and NATA score.

Considering your score , you have a required score in 12th and have done well in NATA to get into the average colleges of architecture. You can consider applying to the new emerging colleges , they are not top ranked but consider addmission of your score easily. Also if you are from state board , you will get addmission in the colleges of your state quite easily , they have some 50-75 % reservation for state board students. If you are from other boards you might find some difficulty in addmission.

Hope this information was useful. All the best.

Good Morning, My self Teesha Sonawane froam Mumbai, Scored 57.05% in Science Hsc Exam, Nata score is 83, Can i get admission for B.Arch ?

Anushri Gupta 3rd Jun, 2019

Hello Teesha ,

Different B.Arch colleges have different guide lines for the marks required to get addmission. Generally for a decent college , 50% marks in 12th Science stream and a valid nata score is required. While some colleges also consider 50:50 ratio of 12th and Nata score.

Considering your score , you might not be able to get into the top ranked colleges. You should apply for the new colleges , they generally consider this score , have good faculty but are low ranked. If you have a state board then you can easily get into these colleges of your state , they have some 50% reservation for state board students.

Hope this information was useful. All the best.

i have scored 74 in NATA and secured 83.5 % in 12 board. Can i get any chance of admission in ipu

Shikhar 13th Jul, 2019

Hello,

The admission through NATA will depend on your 12th marks plus your marks in NATA exam.

50% of 12th and 1/4 th of NATA score will actually decide whether you wil get sa seat in IPU or not.

But the minimum score needed for good colleges is atleast 100 for getting admission.

It is not mandatory that you should have atleast this much score, but it all depends on your overall agrregate.

You have a decent score in class 12th.

Because sometimes if the student is from outside delhi region,he might loose his/her seat.

So if you are from delhi then it's good for you and if not then you have to wait till further rounds of NATA.

Thank You!

If any queries, feel free to ask.

Regards!

Shikhar Singh Chauhan
