jee main peper2 93 score and nata 72.5

Debdeep Pramanik 9th Dec, 2020

You haven't mentioned your query clearly. Whatever with 93 percentile score there would be very good College opportunity. Even if you are from reserved category there would be opportunities of getting NIT or IIITs as well. And for Nata admission is based on your merit system. Divide the NATA score by 4, and your CBSE result by 2, and add them to find your merit out of 100. Normally colleges accept a student who has 60+ merit overall, and sometimes colleges even go for lower merit. So as you have above 70 score in NATA so hopefully you can get well established Institutes through it as well.

How marks of JEE-2 contribute to NATA score or while deciding meet of B.Arch?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 4th Dec, 2020
Hello,
You haven't mentioned the college in which you are seeking admission. JEE Main and NATA are two independent entrance exams. Weightage of one exam will not be added to another. There are several institutes which accepts either JEE Main or NATA or even both depending on the institute.
If an institute accepts both NATA and JEE Main then a separate merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored in the respective exams and merit order depends on the top score in the respective exams, individual score, category and age.

Swarnima Singh 1st Dec, 2020

Hi aspirant!!

For 96 percentile in jee mains paper2, it would be easy if you tell me your rank. The closing rank for SPA vijaywada is 1275. For getting NITs you need rank under 1500 for B.arch. You can check cutoff for different  colleges here.

Prashant Kumar Pandey 23rd Nov, 2020

hello aspirant ...

No, it is compulsory that you clear NATA exam with at least 80 marks i.e 40%. Even if the college you are applying to takes JEE paper 2 scores, clearing NATA exam is a prerequisite. Yes, you can in get it in private colleges but not in government colleges.
