Congratulations on a decent rank in NCHMCT examination. The closing rank of various category is different for different institution. The colleges which you could get at this rank is as follows(general category only):-

IHM Hajipur - Closing Rank(7252)
IHM Srinagar - Closing Rank(7897)

With a rank of 12,888 in the general category, you have chances of procuring a seat in the following IHM's when comparing the results of previous years.

SIHM yamuna nagar, Haryana
SIHM Telengana

Only these two government institutions are possible in the first round. But you can apply for any private institutes or wait till the next round. With a rank of 14,160 ,it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the government IHM's when comparing the results of previous years in your category is general. But you can apply for any private institutes. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. Last year, the central to IHM's closed with a rank of 9,000 and state government IHM's closed with a rank of 13,000. These are for the first round.
