Study materials are the main cause of concern for the students as they need the required books which they can refer to prepare for NCHMCT JEE. As there are different sections that are asked in the exam and students need to have different books for each section of the syllabus. The following are the books given:

English- Pearson’s English
General Knowledge & Scientific Aptitude- General Awareness by Manohar Panday

With a rank of around 7,200 you have chances of procuring a seat in the following IHM's when comparing the results of previous years

SIHM Hamirpur
SIHM Kozhikode
SIHM Kurukshetra
SIHM yamuna nagar, Haryana
SIHM Durgapur
SIHM Telangana
SIHM panipat
SIHm Pondicherry

the above mentioned institutes are state government IHM's which you can get a seat in the first round itself. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. However you stand on the safe zone only for getting government colleges.

I got rank 11138 and am belong to general category in NCHMCT JEE exams, can i get IHM Colleges and what are the chances.

With a rank of around 11,100 in the general category, you have chances of procuring a seat in the following IHM's when comparing the results of previous years.

SIHM Kozhikode
SIHM Kurukshetra
SIHM Hamirpur
SIHM yamuna nagar, Haryana
SIHM Telangana

The above mentioned colleges are state government IHM's in which you can get into in the first round itself. Central government IHM's are not possible, as their closing ranks were around 7,000 in the general category. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats, by which nothing can be predicted for sure. My rank in NCHM JEE is 9161, Can I get IHM Gandhinagar/Bhopal in any round? I belong to open category, what is my best bet till 3rd round?

According to previous years cut off rank analysis(which is subjective changes every year) though you can get ihm's such as hajipur, srinagar ,shillong chances of getting gurdaspur too etc but getting gandhinagar and bhopal is tough if we look at previous years results

for gandhinagar cut off rank in 2018 in round 2 was 4172 and in 3rd round was 4657(no-meagre chances)
for bhopal cut off rank in 2018 in round 2 was 5451 and in 3rd round was 6232(no-meagre chances)
both of the cut off ranks mentioned above didnt changed much in 2017 too.

You have not mentioned which category you belong to. But, even if it is general, you have good chances of getting selected, though not in the top five like Delhi, Mumbai or Kolkata. If you belong to sc or St category, then you can bag a seat in the top institutes like IHM Delhi, IHM Mumbai, IHM Bangalore, IHM Kolkata, IHM Hyderabad. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. But, you stand on the safe zone only. I have AIR of 118 in NCHM Jee Whether i will get IHM PUSA Delhi in General Category

With an all India rank of 118 in the general category, you can procure a seat in the IHM Delhi, Pusa when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, the closing ranks for IHM Delhi was around 230 in the first round. So, you have better chances of selection there, even in the first round. If not, in the second round you can bag a seat there. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. My nchm jee 2019 AIR is 5983, im in general category can i get admission in IHM Goa?

Hi Aayushi,

After the results of NCHM jee the counselling usually starts from last week of may.

There are three rounds of counselling in NCHM jee exam for securing a seat in any of IHM'S.First round second round amd the spot round.

Different IHM's have set different cutoff ranks depending upon the no. seats.

For your rank you will surely get IHM GOA till spot round.

Thus for securing a seat in IHM GOA while registering for first round of counselling you must keep IHM GOA as your first priority and other IHM'S as 2nd 3rd and so on as u wish also you must keep your choice to appear for further rounds of counselling as, 'FLOAT'. This will enable you to sit for further rounds of counselling in case you don't get IHM GOA in the first round.
