Hello,

I am glad to inform you that you can get good IHM colleges with this rank. According tho previous year cut off for ST category you can get IHM Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Chennai and may be Mumbai and Kolkata.

With a rank of 5,583 in NCHMCT JEE, you have chances of procuring a seat in the following IHM's when comparing the results of previous years.

IHM Shillong
IHM Hajipur
IHM Gurdaspur
IHM Srinagar

Hello Abhishek Singh,

IHM considers admission through NCHM Joint entrance examination. There are provisions of reservation in Eligibility criteria and seats are reserved for OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates. All this has benefit based on what rank you scored in NCHM JEE examination. All the IHM has certain reserved under obc category and depending on number of seats as well as your rank , IHM will provide you admission accordingly.

With a rank of 5,314 in obc category, you can procure a seat in the IHM Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, the opening rank was around 5,000 and closing rank was around 13,000 in the obc category in first round. IHM Chennai
IHM Goa
IHM Hyderabad

The possibility for IHM Bengaluru is less as its closing ranks were around 800 in the first round. Among the three, Chennai remains best. But it is upto you to choose. You have not mentioned which category you belong to. If it is general, then with a rank of 4275 the chances of procuring a seat in IHM Goa is less when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, the closing rank for IHM Goa was around 2,100 in the first counseling. May be if you wait, you can get in the third round. But you can get into IHM's other than Goa too. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. With a rank of around 1700 ,it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the IHM Delhi, Pusa when comparing the results of previous years in your category is general. Last year, IHM Delhi, Pusa had a closing rank of 234 which is far away from yours. But you can enter into other IHM's like Hajipur, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram and Shillong. But, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
