    With a rank of around 11,000 in the general category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the central government IHM's for which, the closing ranks were around 6,000 in general category. With your rank, you have two state government IHM's in your hand :
    • SIHM yamuna nagar, Haryana
    • SIHM Telangana

    see every year cutoff changes. and it is impossible to give 100% sureity as cutoff depends on your category, questions level difficulty, number of participants etc. as per your score you have fair chances in ihm chennai, kolkata, hyderabad , bangalore. last year bangalore closing rank was 871. so you have fair chances to get admission in ihm bangalore.

    I have scored AIR 73 in NCHMCT JEE , should I join IHM Pusa or IHM Mumbai ?

    As far as IHM Pusa is concerned, it is ranked first in hotel management in India while Mumbai ranks third. IHM Pusa remains to be the best for almost six years in a row. Both the institutes are equally good and unique in its own ways. When compared the placements and job opportunities, IHM Pusa seems to be best. IHM Mumbai is better in terms of infrastructure. Finally, rating everything, Pusa is better than Mumbai. But it is upto you to choose the final one!

    You have not mentioned which category you belong to. With a rank of around 18,000 in NCHMCT, you don't have a chance in IHM Dehradun unless you belong to the SC or St category, even in the third round.
