I failed cbse exam in 2023 and 2024 but I scored 96%ile in jee mains and NDA . so I Decided 1 more drop for jee mains and NDA . So I want to get boards from NIOS, there will be no problem in going forward.

kumardurgesh1802 3rd Sep, 2024

Hello student,

Yes, you can pursue your board exams through NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) after taking a drop year for JEE Mains and NDA. Here’s how it works:

  1. Eligibility : NIOS is a recognized board and accepts students who wish to complete their secondary or senior secondary education. Your previous attempts at CBSE do not affect your eligibility for NIOS.

  2. JEE Mains and NDA : NIOS certificates are generally accepted for entrance exams like JEE Mains and NDA, provided you meet their specific eligibility criteria. Ensure that you verify the latest guidelines from JEE Mains and NDA authorities.

  3. Admission : Apply to NIOS and complete their registration and examination process. Prepare thoroughly for your JEE Mains and NDA while pursuing your NIOS courses.

  4. Documentation : Keep all documentation and records from NIOS and your previous attempts to avoid any issues during application or verification processes for future studies or exams.

As long as you meet the eligibility requirements and follow the necessary procedures, there should be no significant issues moving forward with NIOS.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

2. Describe the Problem: Despite the status being full, you did not finish the payment procedure.

3. Ask for Help: Make a request for direction on the next steps. They can ask you to resubmit the payment via a certain procedure, or they might provide you guidance on how to correct the payment status.

I have entered wrong date of birth in NDA 2 OTR but have not submitted the part 1 registration can i edit my date of birth as the last date of submission of NDA 2 is 4th june 2024

SUKRITI GUPTA 20th Apr, 2025

You are in a fortunate position because you have not yet submitted Part 1 of your NDA 2 registration. Since the registration process is not complete, the information you have entered, including the incorrect date of birth in the OTR (One Time Registration), is likely still in a draft stage.

The crucial point here is that you should not proceed to submit Part 1 with the incorrect date of birth. Once Part 1 is submitted and your registration is finalized with a Registration ID, making corrections, especially to fundamental details like your date of birth, becomes a significantly more complex process.

Since the last date for submission of the NDA 2 application is June 4th, 2024, you have time to rectify this before the deadline. The best course of action is to go back to the NDA 2 OTR portal and carefully edit the date of birth to the correct one before you finalize and submit Part 1.

Look for an option to review or edit the details you have entered in the OTR. Ensure that all the information, especially your date of birth, matches exactly with your Class 10th or equivalent certificate, as this is the primary document for age proof.

Once you have corrected the date of birth and verified all other details in the OTR, you can then proceed to complete Part 1 of the registration and subsequently fill out Part 2. Submitting a correct application right from the start will save you potential hassle and complications later in the application process.

In summary, as you haven't submitted Part 1, you should be able to edit your date of birth within the OTR. Make the necessary correction before the submission deadline of June 4th, 2024, to ensure your application is accurate.

I hope this helps.

kya nda me bio group se bharti hoti hai

Saurabh Yadav 28th Apr, 2025

Hii,

Yes, students from the Biology group can join the National Defence Academy (NDA) under certain conditions. However, they need to meet the required criteria for entry. For NDA, candidates typically need to have completed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics.

But for medical services in the Army, Navy, and Air Force, biology students can apply if they have a background in medical science. They must pass the NDA entrance exam and meet the physical and medical standards.

Ishita 3rd Sep, 2024

The eligibility criteria for NDA and CDS medical exams can vary slightly, but generally, a normal bend in the left middle finger should not be a significant issue.

However, it's essential to consult with the official medical boards or authorities responsible for conducting the medical examinations for NDA and CDS. They will have specific guidelines regarding physical fitness and medical standards that need to be met.
