National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination
Namaste
you were born on March 16, 2005, you will be:
- 18 years old in 2023
- 19 years old in 2024
- 20 years old in 2025
This means you will be eligible for NDA in 2023 and 2024, but not in 2025 (as you will be above the maximum age limit).
So, yes, you are eligible for NDA in 2023 and 2024! Good luck with your application and preparation!
Only unmarried male and female applicants who were born between January 02, 2007, and January 1, 2010, are eligible to take the NDA 2 exam in 2025.
Given your date of birth (November 25, 2006), you'll be 18 years old during the exam. Unfortunately, this means you won't meet the age criteria, as you'll be slightly older than the specified upper age limit.
Stay focused, and don't hesitate to reach out for guidance on alternative exam strategies.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts you took for 12th board exams.Since you have not passed 12th yet, mention yourself as a "12th Appearing" student in the application form. CBSE private students are valid for the NDA exam and most other competitive exams in India. There's no discrimination against private students when it comes to eligibility. Hii,
Your date of birth is July 20, 2006, and you will finish 12th in 2026. For NDA 1 2026, you must have been born between 2/7/2007 and 1/7/2010. On January 7, 2026, you will be 19 years and 11 months old, which is too old for NDA 1 2026 (max age 19.5 years). The dates for NDA 2 2026 have shifted significantly, but you will most likely still be older over the restriction. Unfortunately, you may be ineligible for NDA 2026 owing to age.
Consider CDS or AFCAT for defense services. Keep chasing your dreams!
