The cut offs for NDA and NA keep on changing every year and likely to change this time as well. The cut off for NDA 2016(i) was just 248 awhereas that for 2017(I) was 342. So considering the toughness of the exam every year, cut offs are decided.

To appear for NDA, you must be 16.5 to 19.5 years of age. If you have enough time as per the age limit prescribed by UPSC, you can take a gap of a year and prepare well for the exam.
