how can prepare for nda 2022 in

Aditya 27th Mar, 2022

Hi aspirant,

NDA examination is one of the most prestigious examination in India held for entry into Indian army airforces and navy. The examination is not very difficult but the competition level is very high because the number seats are very limited and less than 1000. Following below are some of the tips I would give you to prepare for NDA 2022

  • Prepare the mathematic section very well because it is considered to be the most difficult part and the time provided for solving questions is very less. You should try to get at least 120 marks in this section so that you can easily clear the overall cut off. For doing well in mathematics you just need to brush up your concepts and solved as much as previous year questions because questions are repeated very frequently.
  • The English part is very tricky and consists of 200 marks so it is necessary to prepare this part also which generally candidates avoid. Try to add more words to your vocabulary everyday by reading newspaper and English books with their meanings, synonyms ,antonyms. Again I would say revise the previous year questions very well.
  • For the current affairs section read all the news related to past 6 months and especially the news related to defence and politics.
  • The questions asked in the science section is of 10th level only so you just need to revise the formulas once.

Hope it helps!

Are dummy classes along with coaching required to prepare for the NDA or should I prepare it on my own as I am a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya and an above average scorer?

piyush singh 12th Apr, 2022

Hello Aspirant ,

No , you do not need dummy school with coaching classes to prepare for NDA examination , a student can easily clear NDA exam without any coaching classes if he prepares with hard and smart work but you should always look for guidance from someone like teacher , senior etc but if you think it is really hard for you to prepare for NDA you should look for coaching in your locality and there is no need of dummy school.

Giving 2 to 3 hours daily can easily help you clear NDA exam .

Hope this helps.

Sir i am now in class10+1 but soon after passing class10+2 i wanted to join NDA but the problem is that i am an arts stream

Anushri Varshney 26th Mar, 2022

Hello student,

In simple words, YES you are eligible for NDA for army wing only. See, there is no such issue you can easily join NDA but you will be restricted till Army wing

As you do not studied mathematics in your class 12th that will not allow you for Navy and air force due to this you will be preffered for NDA only in army wing.

You need to pass mathematics examination separately if your goal is navy and air force wing. You can take coaching for it as well.

hello sir, soon Ill pass my 11th std but i have already applied for nda exam. what can i do. Is there any mistake made by me? will i appear for exam?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 26th Mar, 2022

Hello,

The minimum education requirement to be eligible to appear for National Defence Academy Entrance Examination is 10+2. A candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board to join in Indian Naval Academy, Indian Airforce Academy and Indian Military Academy. A candidate passing 10+2 examination in any stream can apply for only Indian Military Academy. The age must be 16.6-19.5 years. Candidates who are appearing in the class 12th examination are also eligible to apply but their candidature will be provisional subjected to the passing in the qualifying examination. As you are still in class 11 you are not eligible however, if you have applied for NDA by providing incorrect details that is if you have provided incorrect education details you might be able to appear for exam but if you qualify you will not be eligible to attend SSB interview as you do not have requisite qualification and the information is incorrect provided in the application.
