If my AIR is 999559 and sc category rank is 129536 but my schooling and residence is done in punjab state. Can I get mbbs seat at semi govt college in punjab on the basis of state domicile quota/certificate?

Nischal Kothapalli 29th Jul, 2026

hey,

With AIR 9,99,559 and SC category rank 1,29,536 , getting a semi-government MBBS seat in Punjab is very unlikely , even with a Punjab domicile . However, you should still participate in Punjab state counselling , as cutoffs vary each year and vacancies may arise in later rounds.

thanks,
