With this rank it will be quite difficult to get NIFT Bengaluru as last year the cutoff was around 160-170(Closing rank).

But with this rank you can get NIFT Chennai, Gandhinagar (may be) and other's like Kannur, Kangra, Jodhpur, Bhuv, Patna.

You need to mention the state where you are seeking admission into. The last merit ranks vary according to that. The ranks also vary as per the programs offered by them.

Though the cutoff varies every year but according to previous years cutoffs your chances to get B.F.Tech in top NIFTs will be tough. The last cutoff for all the NIFT campuses was 861 for Kannur.

NIFT Hyderabad had the last CMR for OBC candidates was 1186 in 2019. So there is a chance for you to get into Hyderabad campus! Wait until second or third rounds of admission.

Congratulations ! Yes you can get any course in designing (fashion designing, textile designing, knitwear designing, accessory designing, fashion communication) in NIFT Kolkata with CMR 756 in OBC (NC) category. You can also get some course in other NIFT centres as well.

Dear Anshu, for being eligible for B.Des through NIFT, you should have had a 3 or 4 years of Diploma recognised by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education. 3 years Diploma course is not valid, unfortunately. Alternatively you should have completed 10+2 or equivalent education from any recognised board.
