Admissions to PG Diploma programmes in Project Management, Manufacturing Management and Industrial Engineering courses in National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) will be done on the basis of valid GATE scores.

Cutoff is the minimum score in the GATE exam that is required for shortlisting candidates for the selection process.
Shortlisting doesnot guarantee a seat to any candidate as the final selection is done on the basis of candidate's performance in the group discussion and personal interview. Past academic performance of the candidate is also evaluated.

Expected NITIE cutoff for GATE exam is 550+ for candidates belonging to the OBC NCL category.

Based on this score you should have the chance to get a call from National Institute of Industrial Engineering Mumbai. Along with CAT score the admission will be followed by a Group Discussion and personal Interview for the shortlisted candidates.

As per the eligibility you should have minimum 60% aggregate score in Graduation in Engineering/ Technology, 5% relaxtation for SC/ ST/ PWD candidate. You can refer the below given link for the complete information.

Some colleges would have kept cut offs just to take the students who score more and the cut off completely depends on that year students performance if may be increased or decreased too

Yes with 90 + in CAT you can get into NITIE, also try in some other colleges u might even get a better college.

Sorry aspirant, your chances of getting into NITIE Mumbai is quite low. The cut off goes as high as 97 percentile for general category. But you can always try harder in your next CAT attempt and score better or you can try getting into colleges that accept your score.

Dear Suresh, you haven't mentioned the course about which you are enquiring. For PGDIM/PGDIE/PGDISEM/PGDMM/PGDPM, candidates should have atleast an aggregate of 60% marks in their Engineering/Technology degree. Candidates in their final year are also eligible. For PGDIE/PGDMM/PGDPM, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their GATE scores. For PGDIM/PGDISEM, students are short listed on the basis of CAT score.

In order to apply for P.G. courses in NITIE, you need a valid GATE score. 

The validity of your GATE score is for 3 years and within that period of time, you can apply for NITIE.

So yes you can apply with a previous year GATE score.
