National Institute of Open Schooling conducts its class 10th and 12th exam two times a year, one in April-May and other in October-November.

No, You cannot apply for April-May class 12th exam of NIOS . Right Now the practical exams are going on and the registration and exam fee payment ended in December 2019 only.

But don't get sad, you still can apply for October-November Class 12th Exam of NIOS. The last date for registration for October-November Session is 31st March 2020.

see nios, national institute of open schooling is comes under recognized board of india, so students from nios can participate in neet, jee main like exams, however neet eligibility criteria is you need to have 505 marks in  physics chemistry and biology in aggregate in 10+2 course from a recognized education board, for reserve category candidates (sc/st/obc) marks criteria is 40% in pcb in aggregate.

As per the revised timetable for class 12th NIOS the geography practical Examination is scheduled to be between 11 March, 2020 to 15 March, 2020. You will get the exact date for your exam on your admit card/ hall ticket. The link given below May help you-

The timings of practical exams may differ from subject to subject sand school to school. I'll recommend you to not waste any more time and contact your school immediately and coordinate with them your practical exam timing. For nios generally the exam timing is from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Yes NIOS does release hall ticket/admit card for 10th and 12th examination. NIOS will soon release NIOS hall ticket 2020 for 10th, 12th class on nios.ac.in. National Institute of Open Schooling will release the NIOS 2020 admit card in the first week of March 2020. NIOS exam admit card 2020 will be released separately for theory and practical exams.

National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) examination is not that tough. You have to work hard, be dedicated,  follow right approach and manage time properly in order to score good in NIOS examination.  As far as I know, the 10th syllabus of NIOS board consists of combined syllabus of 9th and 10th of CBSE and 12th syllabus of NIOS board consists of combined syllabus of 11th and 12th of CBSE. But if you are practicing properly from sample papers and previous year papers and studying regularly, you can score exceptionally well. If you face difficulty in understanding any subject, you can avail for proper coachings and can refer standard reference books of good publication.

Practical are dispatched to the concerned regional center or to specified places. In order to conduct NIOS practical examination, NIOS allows the centre superintendent to engage the staff from there AI or other nearby institutes. Passing criteria for class 12th in a subject for NIOS is in the aggregate as well as separately in theory as well as practicals.
