I got 56.9811948 percentile marks in jee main 2020 January attempt which barnch I will get in nit Agartala moreover my caste is schedule tribe

MD Neshat Faizy 3rd Mar, 2020
Dear kriahanu, if you got 56.98 percentile in JEE Main, your rank after JEE Main April paper according this percentile will be around 5 to 6 lakh.
With this you will not get any branch inNIT Agartala if you are from general category and from other state.
But if you are a Home state candidate then you may get Production Engineering or Biotechnology and biochemical engineering.but here also chances are less. But if you are a SC or ST candidates it will increase your chance.
so my suggestion for you is to try for JEE Main April and make your percentile around 80.
If you have any queries regarding this then you can ask in the comment section.

i scored 97.381 percentile in jee main.is there any chance to get nit patna, nit silchar or nit Agartala with good branches.im from Bihar (patna) and obc- category.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 29th Feb, 2020

Hello,

Your expected rank will be around 22759.You can calculate your expected rank using the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100

where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session. In April session 1200000 candidates are expected to appear then you can calculate your expected rank using the formula (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100.

Now, your category rank will be in between 5514-7164.Considering 2019 cut off trends you may get seat in the following branches

In NIT, Agartala

  • Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Production Engineering
  • CSE
  • EEE
  • ECE
  • ME
  • EIE

In NIT, Silchar

  • Civil Engineering
  • EEE
  • ME
  • EIE

In NIT, Patna

  • Chemical engineering
  • EEE
  • ECE
  • ME

These are the branches in which you may get seat. However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.

If Im offered a seat in a college in the first round itself of Josaa, then will I be offered the same for other rounds provided that the seats are empty in the college?

Shubham Dhane 26th Feb, 2020

Hello,

If you choose to slide your seat which is alloted to you in the first round you can participate in the subsequent round which implies you will be alloted a seat in an academic course of better or higher preference within the same institute and you will accept it.

It depends on choice of your preferences and vacancies available. If there are vacant seat available in the preferred courses then you will get a seat if you choose sliding in round 1 seat allotment.

Divyyanaa Hazarika 6th Feb, 2020
Hello Aspirant,
It seems like you are curious regarding your admissions. However you have not mentioned about the course/stream/subject that you are interested in. Kindly mention about your preferred course. There are many good colleges in India offering good courses. Noticing your percentile, if you are a humanities student then you can definitely try for DU as it is very much prestigious. Good luck!

Hello Swarnadeep,

With a percentile of 76 I don't hope you will be able to clear the general cutoff percentile,
Also with this percentile you will be not getting any NITs if you are in  general category.

Try to score better in JEE Main April session.

Hope this helps you.

Good Luck

define radioactivity.write the nature, properties and difference among Alfa,Nita and ray

jishua thomas 3rd Jan, 2020

hello puja rani,

Radioactive decay occurs in unstable atomic nuclei, that is, those that do not have enough binding energy to keep the nucleus together due to an excess of protons or neutrons. Radioactivity can be natural or artificial. In natural radioactivity, the substance already has it in the natural state.

Radioactivity is caused when an atom, for whatever reason, wants to give away some of its energy. It does this because it wants to shift from an unstable configuration to a more stable configuration. The energy that is released when the atom makes this shift is known as radioactivity.

Radioactive decay occurs in unstable atomic nuclei – that is, ones that don't have enough binding energy to hold the nucleus together due to an excess of either protons or neutrons. It comes in three main types – named alpha, beta and gamma for the first three letters of the Greek alphabet.

There are three primary types of radiation:

  • Alpha - these are fast moving helium atoms. ...
  • Beta - these are fast moving electrons. ...
  • Gamma - these are photons, just like light, except of much higher energy, typically from several keV to several MeV

Altogether, there are three major types of nuclear decay that radioactive particles can undergo: alpha, beta, or gamma decay. Each type emits a particle from the nucleus.

Alpha particles are high-energy helium nuclei containing 2 protons and 2 neutrons.

beta decay (β-decay) is a type of radioactive decay in which a beta particle (fast energetic electron or positron) is emitted from an atomic nucleus, transforming the original nuclide to an isobar.

In the most common form of gamma decay, known as gamma emission, gamma rays (photons, or packets of electromagnetic energy, of extremely short wavelength) are radiated.

hope this information helps..

distance intermediate is eligible for admission

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 15th Oct, 2019

Hello there!

Greetings!

You haven't mentioned the course and the college  for which you want to know whether distance education students are eligible or not. Actually,  if you have completed your 12th from recognized open schools like nios then you will face any problem in most of the cases for admission.  For example,  nios students are eligible for both jee and neet and if they clear these exams then can take admission as well.

thankyou
