Yes North-East NIT (NIT AGARTALA) is safe for south indians students, no need to worry how north -eastern NIT is ? north -eastern NIT is good specially i talked about NIT Agartala, this colleges is very safe for all students of all parts of india.

Cut-off are different for different courses and different categories, since you have not mentioned the name of c ourse and your category so it is little bit difficult to give you the proper guidance about that.

For rough estimate cut-off for NIT Agartala goes upto 1 Lakh.

As you are from OBC, NCL category and seeing to your percentile you have good chance of getting a seat in NITs .

About college and which stream you will get , it is difficult to say now.

Hello student. NIT agartala is indeed a good college. But the placements are average. Branches like cse and others get comparitively better companies with better packages.

But remaining other branches the placements and the number of people who get placed is just average.

Hello Aspirant.

No, You're chances of getting CS branch in NIT Agartala is extremely difficult as your rank is too high to get admission into CS sector of this NIT.

You might get many other branches in other government universities but getting Computer science in NIT Agartala is not possible.

Dear kriahanu, if you got 56.98 percentile in JEE Main, your rank after JEE Main April paper according this percentile will be around 5 to 6 lakh.
With this you will not get any branch inNIT Agartala if you are from general category and from other state.
