The first placement was here in nit agartala 2018 you can't blame placement here because they were from mathematics.

And a huge diffrence is there btw mathematics and mathematics and computing as it is a research course and as you see in iit it has huge potential but only few student sit here for placement out of 20 only 7 so other go for PhD or do MS because you can't deny that the significance of MS is much more than mtech currently but if you are genuine and want placement nobody can deny that to you. The coding culture is not great so you would have to start on your own but some seniors are very helpful you get subject like theory of computing,  soft computing, graph theory,  probability and random, data mining and warehousing,  AI, which are all related to machine learning, Matlab will also be taught to you but as you know colleges don't prepare you for interview that you have to do on your own.

Accordingly, NIT Agartala was best preference to get in. Overall it waS NIT college and then it gives brilliant placement. The average package of that college is around 5 lakhs per annum. So nit Agartala was your first preference.

Special round is just like other rounds ,it held at the end of the couselling procedure. People who are already alloted with the college can apply for the special round. Last year it was held after seven rounds of counselling. There are always good changes to get a seat, because till seventh round most of the students finalize their seats. So anyone with a mains rank can apply for special round.

Spot round is held for the vacant seats available in NITs,IIITs,CFTIs. People who have didn’t get any seat till 7th round ,can apply for spot round. Anyone with a college alloted ,can’t apply for spot round.

NO , no spot round other than csab shall be there in nit agartala as it is only through councelling and csab.

The closing rank of Electronics and Instrumentation engineering last year in spot round was 45910. Considering the EWS quota this year, I guess you'll most probably get Electronics and Instrumentation by spot round 2.
