National Institute of Technology Agartala
Hey shahbaz!
NIT , agartala counts in one of the NITs of india. The label NIT is enough to make the college good. So , yes it is a good college for MBA. But if we compare it against all the NITs of india , then it stands at a much lower position. Many other NITs are better than this , that you can go for..but if your scores are landing you up in this college , then it is also not a bad opportunity. You can , for sure go for this college unless you not getting a better NIT.

Hi Candidate,
Both NIT Agartala and Sri venkateshwara university are good colleges. But I suggest you to prefer NIT Agartala over the other. NIT agartala has an impressive rating of 3.9/5. The lecturers are very good and experienced in all departments. The placement are said to be good for civil department with many top companies visiting the campus. But the package is said to be low. All the best. Hope you take the right decision.
Hi Aspirant
During Josaa counseling a lot of variations is not seen in these rounds that is the third, fourth, fifth round. Even the sixth round does not see a lot of variations. But there is a lot of variation in the seventh round of counseling.
You might get another college depending on the choices that you have filled up.
Hope this helps and All the Best.
Hello !!
It solely depends on option you have filled in your choice list during starting of counselling and for upcoming round of Jossa counselling there is fair chance that you will be alloted your upper filled choices .Wait till last round for better option.
Good luck!!
HELLO SANDHYA RANI
SEE THE NIT AGARTALA RANKED 15 OUT OF 31 NITS. AND AS NATIONAL RANKING NIT AGARTALA WAS RANKED 70TH AMONG ENGINEERING COLLEGES IN INDIA BY THE NATIONAL INSTITUTION RANKING FRAMEWORK (NIRF) IN 2019.

Hello Rupsa ; the minimum percentage required in 12th board is :
General/OBC :75%
SC/ST/PwD : 65%
You can see that the minimum percentage required for ST is 65%.But your percentage is 64.4%.So you havenot cleared the minimum percentage required in 12th board. So now it is not possible for you to get a seat in NITs,GFTIs .
In counselling, the HS (Home State Quota) and OS (Other State) plays a vital role.
Last year's closing rank for CSE branch in NIT Mizoram for general category was 37003 ( for OS) and 893551 ( for HS). So by last year's statistics you can get NIT Mizoram.
Now, last year's closing rank for Electrical Engineering branch in NIT Agartala for general category was 32380 (OS) and 181451 (HS). So, here also you can have a seat.
But, this also will depend upon the seat matrix of both these college.
Hope this helps you.
Dear aspirant,
Acc to previous years cut off analysis which is subjective as cut off ranks change every year depending upon a no of factors such as no of applicants, level of difficulty of jee mains this year etc etc so nothing can be predicted with 100% sureity , last year cut iff from other state was around 43129 for general and 20972 for OBC NCL, so might not have a chance if we look at previous years cut off's.
hope this helps
