National Institute of Technology Agartala
Hi,
If you want to change your branch in NIT agartala . The most important thing which mattters is your cgpa it should be higher than the minium ctiteria which is 8.5 for the session of 2018–2019.
Also, make sure you don't have any backlogs in any Theory or Practical Papers in Sem I and II.
Students may enlist up to five # choices of branch as the case may be in order of preference, to which they wish to change over. It will not be permissible to alter the choices after the application has been submitted. Change of branch shall be made strictly on the basis of inter se merit of the applicants.
After scoring the minimum cgpa you have to fill form of branch sliding application which will be updated on website of NITA .
At last if there are vacant seats available in your branch and you are among the top candidates who apply for it then you branch will be slided.
Hope this helps
Wish you luck
Dear Aspirant, if you compare college wise then NIT Agartala will be good as compared to Assam Engineering College. But if you compare stream wise then Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is in high demand as compared to Production Engineering and placement scope is also much better in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. I hope you are clear now. If you have any other doubts feel free to ask. All The Best!!!
Hello,
If you have interest in engineering physics, then you must go for engineering physics at nit Agartala as it is a very good option. But if you don't have an interest and you want to get some better option like cs, IT, ece in some other better college and this was your first attempt, then you can surely think about giving it a second attempt.
But nit Agartala is a good option for pursuing your engineering physics. The NIRF ranking of NIT Agartala is 92 which is not bad. The placement are moderate here with median salary 6lpa and highest package was 22 lpa.
Overall, I suggest you that if you are interested in physics, then take this branch, and otherwise not.
Thank you!
See both the institutes are great in there own way. They have good infrastructure. The faculties are technically well oriented and they have good research experience as well. Now whenever you want to choose any of the college, in your case you have to go with the course itself. Now from the job point of view, EE will offer you a much better option compared to that of ME. Its very sad to say but its true that the ME graduates don't get enough scope in terms of jobs and if they get jobs those are either non-core jobs or they have to settle for low salary packages. Now from the placement perspectives NIT Agartala is better compared to that of NIT Srinagar. So if you are ok to go for non-core or non mechanical jobs even after your BTech ME then you can obviously go for it and it will offer you much a better scope.

Yes, Amrita School of Engineering is very good than NSITs, IIITs and GFTIs (not IIIT Allahabad). But fee is quite high. ASE is really superb.
NOTE: If you are very good top student, Amrita is right place for you. If you are below average student, It is damn hard to survive with Amrita’s Syllabus and curriculum which is in par with top IITs.
For BTech, If your CBSE board score is above 90% and JEE main rank is less than 50k. You are easily survive at Amrita. (It is lower limit only. Most students at BTech will have 95% score and 10k-20k JEE main rank). Apart from your scores, you must have a very good logical reasoning and aptitude skill.
I have seen students with 10k jee rank left north NITs, NIT Trichy civil, mech, etc for Amrita CSE,ECE,AI. But still they feel hard to cop up with the syllabus.
All students at Amrita are nerd and their syllabus, curriculum, Research input make with very competitive, GATE-READY and stand in par with IITs and foreign universities.
They have very good opportunities. But for getting BTech seat in any campus, any branch, you must either get minimum JEE main rank of 80k or AEEE rank of 5k.

hello aspirant ,
Talking about Amrita School of Engineering and any North -eastern NITs, NITs are far much better options than any of the private engineering Institutes .
So according to my opinion any NIT is much better than any private institutes because NITs haev good Infrastructures , good facilities , good management , activities and far much better placements than any private institutes . But since you are getting biotechnology in NITs and Mechanical in Amrita school of Engineering , you need to sacrifice mechanical branch if you want to get admission in any NITs .
So all the choices is now in your hand . You can either choose good college or choose good branch.
Good luck ,
I hope that this will help

NIT Agaratala is one of the National Institute in India. And obviously National Institute have its own benefits. I would like to prefer NIT AGARATALA ECE. It will be a good as per my knowledge. The placement in ECE department is very good in NIT IT companies like Google, Microsoft are coming every year. Core companies are also there. This year also students get placed in Google, Wipro and many more companies. The package is 4 lakhs to 50 lakhs.
The NIT Agartala is one of the reputed and finest NIT in India with very great academic records hence, the competition for this college is also quite high which automatically increases the cutoffs but you should definitely try even though chances are less of getting admission but with this you should keep other options to be choosen instead of this so that at the end you will be having a good college in your hand.
Thank you..
