If you are self-preparing, make a time table and follow it. Write the notes and short notes and use them when you are revising. This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat in nit/iiit as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , the obc category closing rank for gender neutral provided below  :-

NIT ALLAHABAD under home state

• Computer science :- 1675 obc rank , when translated into marks , it is roughly around 180 marks

• IT :- 2375 obc rank, around 165 marks

IIIT ALLAHABAD, there is no state quota in IIITs

• Computer science :- it doesn't offer btech computer science

• IT :- 2356 obc rank, around 170 marks

But yes,

cutoff keep changing every year, so to be on the safer side target at least around 200 marks  in your jee main 2021

You need a CRL of atleast 25k, to have a corresponding OBC Rank of 5k. One of my mentees, secured 141 in JEE Main 2020, to end up with 97.1 percentile and 30k AIR. Hence, for 25k, you must target anywhere between 140-145/300.

Fee reimbursement option is available for those students who belong to economically weaker sections(ews) of general category with income less than 8 lakhs. In TS EAMCET the rank below 10,000 you can get full fee reimbursement and if you score rank above 10,000 you can secure 35,000 fee reimbursement. If you belong to OC Category your parents annual is less than 1 lakh and if BC below 1.5 lakhs and if SC/ST below 2 lakhs. However this reimbursement will be cancelled if you will not be able to maintain 75% attendance in any of the semester.

It depends a lot on the students perspective and also on career lines.It is true that the IIt provides a good salary package offers to the students but being a fresher no company will give you in crores per annum.However with experience you can earn in crores in good company.If a student is ready to start entrepreneurship then it is okay to earn in crores but yes you will get a good establishments if you pass from a decent branches in this college.Same is the case for IIm Graduates.

Caste certificate for OBC e and SC, ST can we used as in under section  6 b as Hindu minority certificate in the States of Telangana.

This certificate can be used as minority certificate in TS PGE CET examination.

I m assuming that you will be aiming for Home Quota seats and are from GEN Category (since you mentioned neither)

Closing rank for NIT Durgapur (2020) is 29719

and in special round, it increases to 30033

Now, marks and percentile are different for each year so there is no "minimum marks required criteria" but there is a safe marks limit, which you should cross to have a good chance in getting course and college of your choice. For NIT Durgapur EE it is higher than 120 marks in JEE Main.

now for IIST Shibpur closing rank is 22481

which means you need to am for 130+ marks to be on the safe side.

As you have not mentioned your category so I am considering you as a general category student so According to the information available on different websites cutoff range for CSE for previous two years will be around 8000-9500 rank that is approximately around 150 to 230 till last round and different categories wise.
