If you choose to slide your seat which is alloted to you in the first round you can participate in the subsequent round which implies you will be alloted a seat in an academic course of better or higher preference within the same institute and you will accept it.
It depends on choice of your preferences and vacancies available.If there are vacant seat available in the preferred courses then you will get a seat if you choose sliding in round 1 seat allotment.

you can easily get admission in nit durgapur for the mechanical engineering course with your percentile obtained in jee mains examination easily. According to the expected cutoff for this year for sc category it was about 54.01 . so you can also try for the advanced examination too.

To get admission in CSE branch in NIT Durgapur you are required to score higher in JEE Mains 2020. I am mentioning previous years cutoff so that you can apprimate idea of cutoff this year.

NIT or National Institute of Technology is made for doing mainly engineering not for MBA, Although you can get your MBA degree with low cost but it is not worth it, I will suggest you to do MBA only from those college which are mainly made for the purpose of MBA , because you do MBA only once in a life so do it with some good college.

Actually to get admission in nit it us necessary to have 94 percentile. But for the sc candidates there is have some chances. But the percentile of chances is vary sometimes.

With 98 percentile in January's JEE Mains 2020, you will surely be ale to get seats in many NITs. Your rank though might increase if more candidates appear in April's JEE Mains, but still your chances of getting an NIT are high.
