Hello Aspirant,
Hope you're doing well.
I want to let you know that both these colleges offer B tech in Rs. 2,30,000.
So I think this is the cheapest fees to study B. Tech in a top institution.
Afterall, don't opt for a bad institution over a good one just for the sake of fees. This is the matter of education and NIT Durgapur and NIT Tezpur, both are better and cheapest possible institutions.
At first very very congratulations to you and your daughter for securing such a good rank in JEE MAINS.NIT DURGAPUR offers 8 B.Tech programmes for the candidates namely- Bio-Technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
Yes,You can get admission in any of the available branches in B.Tech in NIT Durgapur.

NIT Durgapur is an Institute of Nation Importance and its a Government institute. The institute offers quite a good number of engineering programs as well as Science courses. The tier of the college isn't designated by any agency, its usually rated by reviewers and is rated low or high. Although, on a large scale, it may be said that NIT Durgapur is a Tier-2 college.
If you wish to study in NIT Durgapur, then the Tier didn't matter. The placement rates are quite good, the faculty members are quite specialized and the academics are great. So the tier don't play any role in success, what you need is to learn the skills and if you succeed in that, then you will never lack success.

I hope this helps. Wish you a great day!
Hey there!
Well it is hard to predict about the colleges as admission to these institutes depends on various factors like:
1- Difficulty level of examination
2- No. of students appeared in exam
3- No. of seats available in institutes
4- Rank of candidate
5- Closing rank of programs
However we can get a rough idea of seat allocation by analyzing previous years trend.
---With 81 percentile and assuming your OPEN category, your rank would be anywhere in between 194370 - 218500, as per our JEE mains rank predictor tool
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Also according to previous years data, the maximum closing rank at various NITs for general category for CS and IT program is around 6000-12000 considering home state quota.

For IT- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-btech-information-technology
So, considering these data you have low chances for getting into NITs.

Thank you!
Both placements and internships are identical in this regard. Opportunities are available at both locations if you are intelligent and eager to learn. Avoid being duped by an ordinary package. The majority of them have exaggerated CTCs and abuse numbers. See which employers hire, how many, and for what positions. I'll claim that they are nearly identical. However, there are more men with the 8LPA+ package in Bhopal.
Overall, MANIT has a modest advantage as a university.
Good Luck!!
Hope you are doing well !
No not at any cost . Rules & Regulations of the institute use of any Personal Motor Vehicles is prohibited inside the campus . of Rs 5000/- as a first offence and when found doing the same for the next time, the institute may take proper action. The Students can park their bikes outside the NIT Main Gate with their own risk. They can provide you cycle to move from one place to another , so keep this in mind
Thanks
