Both the colleges have its own pros and cons.

The ratio of number of companies visiting campus to nunber of students is more in IIIT Allahabad. In simpler words more opportunity in IIIT Allahabad. 

As per ranking IIIT Allahabad is at better position than NIT Durgapur. Even fests are better than that of NIT Durgapur. 

But at NIT Durgapur you'll enjoy all the name and fame of college. Fees is also less and you'll get good job opportunity. 

But I'll strongly suggest to go for MNNIT.

as per my point of view the NIT duragapur is worthfull and you will be benifitted there as in NITS will be loaded with talents and you will get life set in there while DTU is the private and the value will be quite low comparetivly

As per your priority, i.e.good faculty and personal development the order in which you should fill up the choices are:-

1. IT at IIIT Allahabad
2. CS at IIEST Shibpur
3. CS at BIT Mesra
4. CS at NIT Durgapur

The reasons for the above order are:-

IT at IIIT Allahabad is quite good. The coding culture is very good and it is becoming even better. As IIIT Allahabad is totally dedicated to CS and IT, the coding culture, technology enthusiasm etc. are bound to be better than the rest. Faculty is good.

Secondly, IIEST because IIEST is growing at a tremendous rate. Few years back, it was a state government college. But now after becoming an INI (Institute of National Importance), it has been growing very fast. The cutoffs this year has become so much better due to its performance and development. Faculty at IIEST (formerly BESU) has always been well known for research, development and it will be a good experience. Moreover IIEST Shibpur being one of the oldest institutions has got great alumni network which would help you later in your career.

CS at BIT Mesra is quite well known. Placements are very good. The faculty is okaish. Research is not a strong point here. Personal development is very good. And definitely you will definitely succeed. BIT Mesra is at third. Some might argue that BIT Mesra would be above IIEST or vice versa but IIEST now being funded by Central Government and being an INI has its own perks. But BIT Mesra is also a great option nonetheless.

Finally, NIT Durgapur. Off recently NIT Durgapur has been performing quite well but still I feel the growth has not up to the mark. Being an NIT you will get the advantage of the NIT tag. But faculty is not the best as far as I know. Research and environment could be better here. But if you want to be called an NITian, it is a good option too.

NIT durgapur is a better institute than NIT jamshedpur. But if your home city is near jamshedpur, you can choose jamshedpur. Otherwise durgapur is a better option.

there are no issues in getting a job in IT sector irrespective of your branch until and unless you have dirtied your hands in coding.. if your coding skills are strong then you'd certainly get an IT sector job...
