NIT Hamirpur is pretty well regarded as well as well reviewed by the current students.

- The average placement package offered in 2019 was around 6 lacs per annum while the highest offered was 12 lacs per annum.

- The chemical branch placement percentage stood at around 60% which is great but the fact remains that students form chemical or metallurgy branches sit for IT and Managerial placements as there are not that many direct campus placement opportunities available with good packages.

- Unless you get a different branch somewhere else, I'd say NIT Hamirpur would be great and you should go for it.

see the placement Information is totally depends on the particular college and their policy, now the students generally depends on the official website of the particular website for this type of related Information and to tell the truth , there is various mistakes found in placement related Information. some times it can be  2/3 years old. so it would be best to ask in the college group or senior students for the placement scenario.

On an average if the college is either tier 1 or tier 2 if 100 tech companies visit the collages then 100 tech companies allow cse branch students to sit in the placement whereas 70-80percent of ece students will be allowed to sit in tech companies placements and 50-60percent of eee students will be allowed so on ans so forth.

well the AVG. package of ECE Branch students at Nit Hamirpur. is around 4.5 lpa. Most of the companies visit this college even reliance jio which offered around 9 LPA package. so its a good college for getting ample of placements opportunities.
