According to 2017 statictics it is hard task for you if you are not homestate.If you tell us your JEE OBC-NCL rank we might provide you if there is any possibility if you belong to homestate quota.

Look both of them are different branches with equal opportunities.It depends on your interest to choose a particular branch.
However, both of the colleges are really good and has good placement records.You can choose any of them according to your choice.
