Hello Sonu, It's a nice selection. It is good in terms of Faculty, Infra., Placement...  The highest package offered in the year, 2017 was Rs. 33 LPA and the average package was about Rs. 10 LPA. 

For admission Entrance examination that needs to be qualified: JEE (UG), GATE / JAM (PG), NIMCET (MCA). All the best

hi. The fee for NIT Jamshedpur is 5.84 lakh while the fee for Hamirpur is 3.64 lakhs. 94% of total batch were placed in NIT Jamshedpur with 1.06 lakhs as maximum salary. Accenture, Infosys, sony, Amazon are some of the companies that offer placements in this college.

The lowest salary is 3.18 lakhs and the highest salary is 8.25 lakh while the average is 4.35 lakhs. ACC, IBM, Wipro are some companies that offer placement in Hamirpur.

In my opinion, Harimpur offers a better ROI.

Placements: CSE dual yet to be placed. But the placement of CSE is fairly well. This time the highest package is 75 Lacs (off campus). Companies like Amazon, Drishti, Adobe do come here for placements. Average package is around 6 Lacs. Internship is applied outside college by your own consent. Overall placement is good.

Infrastructure: This college has the best infrastructure among other NIT's ). It has a sense of serenity all around. Coolness and composure marks the surrounding. There is a ground with basketball, lawn tennis etc. Facilities. Girls and Boys hostels have a badminton court. Classes are well furnished. Cleanliness is maintained. However the girls hostel is quite far from lecture hall.

Faculty: The faculty is nice and cooperative. Qualified and knowledgeable staff is there. Projector teaching is also done sometimes. Satisfactory teaching quality. Plenty of staff is there for each course such that teaching of each year is successfully managed.

Other: Hillfair and Nimbus -2 fests held in an year. Apart from it various other events related to each course usually take place. Campus crowd is good. Various events like art of living etc. Were held

NIT durgapur is a better institute than NIT jamshedpur. But if your home city is near jamshedpur, you can choose jamshedpur. Otherwise durgapur is a better option.
