National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur
Hello Vimal Kumar,
With this rank you will not be able to get in it. If you had rank under 9000 then there would have been any chance of getting one of the branchs in NIT Jamshedpur.
We deeply regret for late reply.
See brother I would tell you that all of those mentioned are best but you be clear what you want to take ahead either IT or ece .If you are sure with that then you go ahead but for your asked question I would tell you that bit has better placement record as compared to other two so you can choose that
hii

all thebest
Hey Varsha.
As we all know, CSE is the most in demand stream in engineering. Also there are more chances of placement through CSE. Apart from this, studying in some NIT is also a big deal. Jamshedpur has a lot of opportunities in terms of placements.
Considering the above points, you are adviced to chose CSE at NIT, Jamshedpur. But if you have some opposite interests and situations dont allow you to go to NIT, Jamshedpur, you can opt for Jadavpur University. I can only give you the facts. While making the final decision is upto you and what your family finds correct.
Hope this helps. All the best.
Dear Vimal,
According, to previous year cut off you have less chances to get admission in NIT Jamshedpur in OBC category home state quota.
If you want you can prepare for JEE Advanced to get admission in IITs.
You can also applyin the private colleges which provides admission on the basis of JEE main marks. You have to apply seperately to take admission in this college.

Good Luck!!
In previous year, the closing rank for NIT Jamshedpur, CS (OBC) branch was 4129 as per this much rank the safest score should be approx 230 and for NIT Nagpur it was 2292 and according to this the score should 250.
Good Luck!!!
Dear Bittu,
Based on previous year cut off you should score around 175 marks in JEE Main to get CSE branch in NIT Jamshedpur in OBC category home state quota.
Hii..
For the candidates to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE(Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
Dear Ravi,
You will get home state quota of the NIT from where you have completed your 11th and 12th class.
According, to last year cut off you need to score more then 180 marks in JEE Main to get CSE branch in NIT Jamshedpur in general category home state quota.
