Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a good branch in NIT Surathkal, which is itself one of the top NITs. The placement percentage has been close to or above 85% for EEE in the past years, sometimes even touching 90% which is a remarkable benchmark. 2. You can learn programming by yourself and choose software based Internships in NIT . That way you might have to work hard as you'll have to maintain your GPA as well.

You will get more opportunities than you will ever get in third tier college. You will get a chance to apply for excellent internship and placement.

3. The faculties and alumni network of NITs are amazing and hence you will get an opportunity to learn more. Faculties in NITs will be willing to help you even if you don't belong to their branch.
