which is better ece in nitk or in iiita

Sayan 13th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Both institutions are excellent in every way, however let me share with you something fascinating.

Among all NITs and IIITs, NITK ranks third and IIIT Allahabad sixth. All renowned businesses, like Facebook, Amazon, Google, and others, visit both colleges. As you are aware, the percentage of ECE/CS placements is higher presently.

In terms of fees, IIITA charges about 98k year, including the cost of the dorm, compared to 150k at NITK.

The conclusion is that you ought to join at IIITA, in my opinion.

My son looks to have admission choices as below. Pl suggest 1) CS at IIIT Hyderabad 5 yr integrated course 2) AI at NIT Surathkal 3) CS at BITS Goa

Sayan 13th Aug, 2022

Dear parents,

All three colleges are best. Now it all depend on the interest of your son.

CS in IIT Hyderabad is good. They have good faculty and placement scenario.

If your son choose this course then he have to do Btech with Mtech in 5 years which is good.

Now moving toward NIT. AI in NIT is good but not so popular in today's placement scenario. If he want to pursue higher degree on AI then he can choose. And also after IIT , NIT tag is valuable but in placement situation, it not so good.

And at last CS in BITS Goa. I will say don't take BITS Goa. If your son get BITS Pilani then it will consider best.

So, as per my suggestion, for getting good placement - IIIT Hyderabad and for pursue higher studies - NIT Surathkal

Thank You

which is better option nitk mining or nit Rourkela mining. if I want to do coding and persue job in it sector

Sayan 7th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Both NITs are outstanding in every way. However, NITK offers somewhat higher placements and rankings. The only college with a beach is NIT SURATHKAL, and it has a wonderful private beach.

NITK is a Nationally Important Institution. Despite how useless the rankings are, NITK is listed as one of the best engineering schools in the nation. Real and accurate evaluations are quite difficult to come by. The quality of an institution can only be accurately evaluated by those who have firsthand knowledge. It is crucial to remember that the teaching method is the most crucial factor to take into account while evaluating the Institute in terms of undergraduate courses.

The views of the students are crucial, yet they are unreliable for obvious reasons. No one dares criticise the course material, the calibre of instruction, or the evaluation process while they are a student because they are undoubtedly anxious about the marks or grade that the instructor will assign.

Thank You

Krishna Rathod 7th Aug, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well

It is really difficult to decide which college will be better for one particular course. Every college has their own ways of teaching and all of them are good in their own way. It completely depends on you to choose a college for yourself. You should decide on the basis of,

  • course you are interested in, whether the particular college has the course you want or not
  • Ranking of the colleges
  • Location of the colleges, should be convenient for you

Between MS Ramaiah and PES, MSRIT has good rankings and its on 67th Rank.

NIT Goa and NIT Surathkal both has an outstanding reviews. You can check more details about these colleges by tapping on the link below

can i get into nit surathkal civil with 95 percentile?, im general and my homestate is karnataka

Anurag Khanna 20th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to predict your exact figure of rank because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors but yes we can help you with approximate figures on the basis of analysis of previous year's data.

So If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2021 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 51150 - 57500 .

As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2021 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that you very less chances of getting any of the branch in NIT Surathakal even after considering home state quota because last year the closing CRL rank was around 40k

what is home state quota in NIT surathkal...?

Anurag Khanna 23rd Jun, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See Home state quota is the reserved quota for Home state candidates in that institutions. In NITs there is 50% of total seats are reserved under Home state quota, which means that only Karnataka domicile candidates are eligible for that seat.

So during counselling Karnataka domicile candidates will be preferred over other state candidates for those 50% seats.

I hope this information helps you.
