All the very best!
Hello Aspirant,
Some books which are the best for nimcet are as below:
Hope this helps
Good Luck
NIMCET rank is considered by all the participating NIT's and some other institutes also(HBTU kanpur, IPU delhi, HCU Hyderabad).
So All the NIT's are good for MCA and the placement is also good. If you get top NIT's (Trichy, suratkal, allahbad) you will definitely get a handsome package.
Apart from it, placement of HCU are also great but in HBTU/IPU you have to shine yourself to get a good package.
NIMCET is a common entrance exam conducted by National Institute of Technology for MCA aspirants. Through this exam with a good rank you can get into any one of the NITs. Your all India rank is not enough for any NIT and coming to your category rank , EWS category is a recent addition, so though you may chance at few low ranked NITs , it may vary with the number of seats available and number of applicants, hence an exact possibility cannot be predicted. So based on your category rank the NITs you may get are :
NIT,Raipur-639
NIT, Jamshedpur-511
NIT, Kurukshetra-545
NIT, Agartala-662
Note that these are NITs with their general category cutoffs, considering EWS category may have slightly lower cutoffs than these ,you may have possibilities.

HCU 2019 closing rank was 690(UR). So there are no changes in HCU also.
But you will surely get a seat in HBTU kanpur and IPU delhi. These institutes aslo takes admission based on NIMCET rank. And, HBTU kanpur forms are still available... :-)
hope it helps..
NIMCET is a national level entrance exam for MCA course in NITs . Usually the general category will have a high cutoff when it comes to such premier institutions. The cutoff ranks are decided based on the number seats available and the the number of applicants . Your rank is really good but since the competition is high , coming from general category , I am afraid you would need a higher rank to get NITs. Below are the general category cutoff ranks for all the NITs:
NIT,Allahabad-213
NIT,Bhopal-315
NIT,Calicut-261
NIT,Surathkal-175
NIT,Trichy-34
NIT, Durgapur-467
However , you can apply in many other equally good universities or colleges that accept NIMCET score . The below link has the complete list of all MCA colleges accepting NIMCET:
