By the term general rank I do not know whether you are saying it is your AIR or it is your general category rank . So assuming that you belong to general category your NIMCET  rank is not enough for NITs. Based on the expected closing ranks the

But you definitely get a seat in IPU/HBTU with this rank. Also, HBTU forms are still available.
