Well you have got quite a good rank in nimcetair 989 and also category rank 380. Now the category rank which you have is enough for you to get a seat in nit.You won't get in trichy, warangal, surathkal. Maybe you will get surathkal. but surely you will get the rest of the nit. Do not worry,

Well considering the information which you are giving you got 4825 general rank and 241 category rank in nimcet . You have not mentioned the category. So if it is obc then considering previous year nit closing ranks , except nit trichy you are elgible to get all the nit. If you are sc or st category then you will get all the nit's.

See Kritikesh you have got 1563 ranking general category in NIMCET. If i consider previous year rankings, the closing rankings of different nit then it is not possible for you to get a seat in any nit. Previous year rankings went upto 700-800 maximum so it is not possible to get a seat in any of the nit.

I see that you have got AIR 1533 and 533 OBC category rank in NIMCET. Well if I see previous year closing rank for different colleges then with rank of 533 in OBC category it will be quite hard for you to get a seat in nit Surathkal. Well I think that you will not get a seat in nit Surathkal. But you might get a seat in nit Calicut and others.

Ishika, please specify it's NIMCET ranking. Sorry to inform you that there's less chance for you to get into any NIT.

But you can try in spot round if you have luck you'll study one NIT.

Owing to your category, you are quite certain to join top 5 NIT's in MCA. 

I would recommend you to join the NIT for MCA course which more closer to your hom town. More or less the peer group in top 5 NIT's are almost same.
