What should i choose rv college of engineering computer science or nit patna mechanical for btech?

Dhruv 30th Sep, 2020
Hello, both are good colleges and since, you have mentioned your two options.
In my opinion Nit Patna is a good choice as it is a Nit and a highly reputed college.
Placements are good and you will have good opportunity for placements and higher studies.

If you are interested in computer science engineering then you can go with RV college.
It's depends on your interest and for which branch you will do better.

What should i choose rv college of engineering computer science or nit patna computer science?

Apoorva Student Expert 30th Sep, 2020

Hello dear student,

If you have these two option then I will suggest you to definitely go for NIT Patna for your bachelors in computer science. Studying from NIT and IIT puts an extra feather in your cap and the placement rate is also great in these colleges with respect to the other colleges of engineering

Thank you

How much money do I need at the time of admission at NIT Patna?

Nimish Yadav 30th Sep, 2020

At the time of admission you can whole sem fees at a time or in two installments if you are getting seats from the counselling you must at least carry 20,000-30,000INR to get a seat. Or if you are taking direct admission just go to the seat it will give you a fee structure if you are applicable . The link provided by me will help you. https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/nit-patna-fee-structure/amp

Aman Ghatiya 24th Sep, 2020

Hello Rahul , Now coming to placements, it seems that Ramaiyah College of Engineering has a slightly better placements than that of NIT PATNA , which seem to lack in infrastructure. The NIRF Ranking of Ramaiah Institute of Tech . Is 59 whereas that of NIT Patna is 92(as of 2020).

So, Ramaiha institute of technology is best.

Hope it will be helpful for you :)

i got ews rank- 45746 should i go for Josaa or Csab to get NIT patna in any branch..also can i chamge my branch in NITs if i get integrated course ?

Anurag Khanna 24th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get NIT Patna or even any of the NITs as per previous year's cut-offs which you can check out from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-patna

But yes I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

Now as you are asking about change of branch for integrated courses so yes you can change but the condition is that you must fulfil the eligibility criteria for branch change as per the institution because there are different institutions and have different eligibility criterias.

You can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
