which will be a better choice Computer Science and Social Sciences in IIIT-Delhi or Computer Science in NIT Patna

Nishu Kumari 5th Oct, 2020

Hii there,

Dear candidate, below I'm providing the link of comparing both the colleges, please do find the difference

https://www.careers360.com/compare-colleges

I would suggest you to choose the college based on your rank, the college which has lower closing rank are more beneficial to you. College placements of IIID is more than that of NIT patna, but yes the fees is also higher for IIID. IIID is more top rated college by NIRF, and also both are public owned.

Good luck!!

if i got admission in nit patna maths then any chances for branch change

vishnupandey 4th Oct, 2020
Hello aspirant
Many students take admissions in college ignoring their choice of course and try to change their branch after 1st year. Changing a branch is very competitive not only in nit but in any college. There are very less Chance of branch change as it depends on various factors. You will have to be top ranker in your college as well as there must be vacant seat in branch you desired to change.

Branch change factors-
1. You must have to be a top ranker if you are trying for cs/ it .
2. Competition is less in branches like mechanical, civil, biotechnology etc.
3. Number of vacant seat in your preferred Branch.

You can try your best there are chances that you might get your desired branch if you work hard throughout the year.

Hope this will help

Best of luck.

shravyamdsce 2nd Oct, 2020

Hi Sudhanshu,

NIT Jamshedpur is a good NIT college, but as per the review, ratings, rankings, and placements record, this would be suggested ranking -

1. BIT Mesra

2. NIT Jalandhar

3. NIT Jamshedpur

4. NIT Patna

In NIT Jamshedpur, ECE will be the most preferred branch, followed by EEE and Mechanical Engineering.

Hope, this answers your query.

What should i choose rv college of engineering computer science or nit patna computer science?

Apoorva Student Expert 30th Sep, 2020

Hello dear student,

If you have these two option then I will suggest you to definitely go for NIT Patna for your bachelors in computer science. Studying from NIT and IIT puts an extra feather in your cap and the placement rate is also great in these colleges with respect to the other colleges of engineering

Thank you

How much money do I need at the time of admission at NIT Patna?

Nimish Yadav 30th Sep, 2020

At the time of admission you can whole sem fees at a time or in two installments if you are getting seats from the counselling you must at least carry 20,000-30,000INR to get a seat. Or if you are taking direct admission just go to the seat it will give you a fee structure if you are applicable . The link provided by me will help you. https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/nit-patna-fee-structure/amp

i got ews rank- 45746 should i go for Josaa or Csab to get NIT patna in any branch..also can i chamge my branch in NITs if i get integrated course ?

Anurag Khanna 24th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get NIT Patna or even any of the NITs as per previous year's cut-offs which you can check out from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-patna

But yes I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

Now as you are asking about change of branch for integrated courses so yes you can change but the condition is that you must fulfil the eligibility criteria for branch change as per the institution because there are different institutions and have different eligibility criterias.

You can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
