Civil Engineering for general: AI-31813/ HS - 246946

CSE: AI- 15164/ HS- 134522

IIIT Guwahati and IIIT Kancheepuram are both highly esteemed and prestigious universities that are sought after by aspiring students.
There really isn't much difference between these two as they are the same institute only in different locations.
The faculty in both are highly experienced and punctual, the infrastructure is good in both, the placements are provided to the students, internships are also provided by the college to the students.
IIIT Kancheepuram was set up in 2007 whereas IIIT Guwahati was set up in 2013 so this gives IIIT Kancheepuram an advantage as it already has a well-established reputation among companies which attracts more of them to offer jobs to the students. 
Both are equally good institutes and you need to decide which one is better for you based on location and facilities that you want.

Dear student, as you have got the kottayam branch in the first round of counselling process, you may hardly move on to NIT andrapradesh and not more than that. It depends on the availability of seats after the first round counselling is over and even on the number of applicants and their choices.

You have not mentioned your category to which you belong to.Based on 2018 cut off trends you may get seat in Chemical engineering if you belong to any of SC or ST or BC-E category.As the cut off for SC- was 67883 ST was 71425 BC-E was 43925.And the cut off ranks for other categories are below the rank you have secured.However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.So hope for the best.

there is no management quota available in nit puducherry for india students. you need to take part in josaa counsellig or csab counselling. and according to merit rank seats will be alloted. however there are DASA SCHEME AVAILABLE FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS AND nri STUDENTS. follow the below link to know more details,

Well your marks are very very low so have little hopes but yes since the home state quota for NIT Puducherry is very very high and the cut-off vary like anything so anything can happen. Just make sure to stay put till the last round of counselling even special round and you may get a seat!

Maybe there is chance of getting go head with counselling and complete formalities.

Hello there. If you want to keep NIT Puducherry, then you can go for counseling and get your seat booked. Once you are done with that,choose the option of float by which seat of NIT Puducherry will be with you and in future if you get any other seat of your desire then you can choose that seat.
