National Institute of Technology , Raipur is one of the best and oldest institutes of engineering in the country.

It's a government Institution and you have to qualify Jee exams for admission.

BTech fees is about 6 lakh

The College facilities and faculty are best among the most nits.

The infrastructure is good for an old Institution. The hostel may not be good but sports arenas are better.

The College also offers Scholarship to meritorious students.

Reputed companies and prestigious organizations such as Amazon, Indian Navy, Indian Army, Samsung, Deloitte, Siemens, Wipro, Vedanta, Adobe, Aditya Birla Group, Cognizant, Fiat, Infosys etc visit the campus for recruitment.

The highest package offered was 38 lakh.

Nit durgapur is a deemed university.

Nit durgapur is an average with good infrastructure and facilities.

NIT Durgapur had one of the best and the largest faculty members in India in mechanical engineering.

The highest salary package offered was Rs 32.54

There are 6 well-developed laboratories in the department for conducting teaching and research.

Overall nit Raipur is much better to nit durgapur.

This college stands at 67th place in NIRF ranking in Engineering. They have good overall ratings. They have good placement record so far but records are highly inconsistent. Computer Science department have better and consistent placement records rather than other departments. Highest package offered is 44Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 3Lakhs per annum and average package offered is around 10Lakhs per annum.. Top recruiters are Oracle, Wipro, Infosys, etc. They don't have that good infrastructure and faculties are good.

IIEST Shibpur is far better college than NIT Raipur. As per NIRF Ranking, 2020, NIT Raipur stands at 61st position whereas IIEST Shibpur stands at 21st position.

In the terms of placements, by a notch IIEST Shibpur is better than NIT Raipur, especially for the CSE, ECE, EEE Branches. IIEST Shibpur is famous for Aeronautical and Aerospace branches of engineering.

Comparing both the Institutes there's no doubt that IIEST has an upper hand compared to NIT Raipur.

In NIT Raipur around 60-80 students get placed in ECE department. The average Salary being around 6 lacs. The Major recruiting companies are basically software companies. Very few core companies visit the campus.

In IIEST Shibpur IT department was the Highest recruited department in 2019. The percentage of students getting placed is around 88% in IT department. The average salary package is around 5 lakhs.

NIT does have brand value but IIEST is no less. It has a NIRF ranking better than that of NIT Raipur and the placement chances of IT department is better than that of ECE. Also you should choose the department which you have the most interest in. If you're interested in ECE then go for NIT and if you're interested in IT then go for IIEST. Both the institutes are really nice and guarantee a decent chance during placements.

Dear aspirant, you should choose the branch as per your area of interest. If you like CSE, go for it otherwise you can choose bio medical if you have interest in it. Coming to college, NIT Raipur offers great placements. Last year average package was 5.40Lpa and highest package was above 11.30 LPA. It possesses 30% of biology and 70% of electronic and instrumentation. BIT durg offered 12.7 LPA package to 8 students. 100% placement is guaranteed to CSE students and average salary is of 6LPA. Choose accordingly.

For your doubt my answer is you choose IIIT nit Raipur because it is the best college which suits you among the list.

If you can afford for your career then choose IIIT lucknow because this is also best college but fee structure is high, for CSE fee is nearly 10,00,000. Better you choose nit Raipur.

Which college you can choose it is up to you but choose CSE course in that because it is much helpful in future.

Naveenv495 , From some research on internet about both colleges I found that nit raipur with mechanical engineering is better college because of its placement which is quite better than iiit kancheepuram and the fees is almost same so it is a good option.
