Metallurgy is a boring branch. You can go with ECE in IIIT ranchi.
ECE is a good and interesting branch. But there is not any building for IIIT ranchi its own.

Both institutes are more or less the same in terms of their programmes. NITs are Institute of National Importance whereas GGSIP is a state university but if you wanna opt for a brand name then you should go for NIT because it will help you in terms of

so for four year fee will be 4*(131500-caution money)

Yes, if you choose slide option then only branch will differ not college.
But be sure , you have filled mechanical branch in higher preference.

Placement for cse and IT branch is good in NIT Raipur as compared to other branches and on an average you will get a package of 5-6 lakhs per annum and if you want better Pay scale then you should try off campus after passing out your college.i
according to me nit raipur is beeter than iiit ranchi. as the facult and campusis quite better than iiit ranchi. as well as placements are akso good there. you will definitely love the campus . all the best have a great future ahead.
