I m not very sure about the placement statics of both the institutes currently, but i can state that NIT Rourkela is better than NIT Raipur in all aspects.

In case of branch it is dependent upto you in which field you want to go.

From my point of view NIT Rourkela CSE will be better than NIT Raipur electrical or mechanical.

It's a tough choice between nit Rourkela and nit allahabad because both are best of the nits . It actually doesn't matter whichever nit you choose between the two.

But let me tell you some of the facts that nit Rourkela has a huge campus area than nit allahabad . The hostel and mess of the both colleges are good. But the problem is in mnit allahabad you will get only veg not non veg.

The placements of the both the colleges are at par so it doesn't create any difference in this section.

Hi aspirant, since you have 87000 as your CRL and your category rank id 13000 so based on that I can say that at this rank range it is difficult for you to get admission in NIT, Rourkela unless and until you belong or hold any reservation criteria and since you have your criteria there are chances for you to get into the NIT, Rourkela but there also there are the chances that you may not get the CSE or IT branches but you still have chances to opt any core engineering branches.

Mechanical Engineering is the leading branch in NIT Rourkela in terms of placement, as well as Faculty.

Computer Science and Engineering may be the second branch in terms of placement as this branches provides you with the assured placements, although the teaching standards are not so good.But the research resources are excellent.

I will suggest to go for IIT ropar or IIT mandi and study coding IIT will provide you oppotunites and if you do not want to study coding the i will suggest to go for NIT rourkela as the placement of electronic branch are good .

Both the institutes are great and when it comes to branches ECE and EEE, both have a wide scope of opportunities so one needs to analyze his field of interest before opting for either of the branches. So, I would suggest you to choose your area of interest first.

Also, according to the data, the requirement for ECE engineers is increasing yearly as compared to EEE engineers. An average ECE Engineer may earn around 3.5LPA. So seeing to this as a great scope you can join ECE branch in MNIT Jaipur.

To get your certificates back you may have to pay the tuition fee of that academic year or entire course fee if you leave the course in the middle of the duration of the course. It is subjected to the rules and regulations of the institute. We would suggest you to contact the administration department of the institute and enquire regarding the same. No, You wont be eligible for state quota of NIT Rourkela.

For you to be eligible for state quota of NIT Rourkela you had to complete your 10+2(class 12) from Odisha but you did it from Maharashtra so  will be eligible  for home state quota of NIT in Maharashtra(VNIT nagpur) only.

• The student should be a native citizen of that particular state having a authenticate proof of it.
• The student must have completed his secondary or higher secondary education from a institution in the state which is also recognized by the government.
