YOu have not mentioned if you have any category reservation based upon which the cutoff varies. Considering that you belong to the General category, then in that case you will have to have a rank of 5000.

If you have a home state quota for NIT Rourkela, you must have a minimum JEE Mains rank of around 5000 to get into the Electrical branch, and a JEE Mains rank of approximately 4500 to get into the Mechanical branch.

If you don't have a home state, you'll need a JEE Mains rank of around 1300 to get into the electrical branch, and a JEE Mains rank of around 1500 to get into the mechanical branch.

Hi, below is the stated data for the year 2018 & 2019.

NIT Rourkela reported 53 per cent growth in placements of the graduating batch of 2018 with the highest pay of 39.1 LPA. A total of 212 companies visited the campus this year and made a total of 1016 job offers.

In the year 2019, 909 job offers were bagged by the students from different departments. Maximum number (499) of job offers were bagged by the B.Tech.The top companies which recruit students from ECE branch are qualcomm, tata, SAP labs, microsoft, oyo, scheidner etc.  Highest package was of 40 lpa and average package is of 7lpa.
