First thing I would like to make you clear that admission to NIT Rourkela is solely done on the basis of JEE-Main score but on the other hand VSSUT Samabalpur takes admission on the basis of JEE-Main score as well as OJEE score.

As you have not mentioned your branch for which  you are concerned so it is little bit difficult to predict the more precise rank or marks because different branches have different cut-off according to different categories. But as you told that you belongs to SC category so you need to get around 95 percentile in JEE-Main. Note that this cut-off keeps varying every year depending upon various factors. SPA vijayawada :- it has 3.4/ 5 rating. reviews given by the students indicates that college campus has average performance in placement and infrastructure is fine.  College provides good academic curriculum. it is planned so that teachers and students will get enough time and space for each and every subject.  This helps students to learn and work on different small  projects work which will help them gain skills.

SPA vijaywada is ranked 9 by NIRF for architecture. if you want to learn and gain skills then this will be better option.

NIT rourkella:- will be a good option but it is not architecture specific college.  it has 4.2/5 rating. Fees for BArch is 1.78 lakhs for 1st year and 1.54 lakhs for rest year which is fine for a NIT campus fee.

institute is ranked 32 by NIRF for overall performance across all the degree stream and domain. Placement is good. Highest package was 40lpa which is good achievement.  academic is also good, and advances. faculty are well learned and experiences.

from above all points, NIT rourkella will be a best option than SPA.

I am a student of NIT trichy, B.tech. I will definitely recommend NIT trichy over others, because of its high ranking and it has continued to be the top NIT.

This year, it managed to retain its position and also got a NIRF ranking of 9.

placement statistics are also great. NIT surathkal, the second NIT in terms of rank, can also be considered a good choice for CSE branch.
