What is the eligibility criteria for BTech offered at NIT Rourkela?

For admission in BTech offered at NIT Rourkela, candidates have to appear for JEE Main or a similar test approved by NIT Council and obtain a valid score. Further candidates have to register with JoSAA for participating in the counselling process and have to choose NIT Rourkela as their first choice during the choice filling. Once they have been allotted a seat, they have to be a part of the document verification process and pay the course fee.

You need to first appear for CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT and obtain a valid score. Applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria have to fill in the application form. Based on the eligibility criteria, candidates will be informed and called for Group Discussion and Interview. The final selection will be based on GP & PI conducted by the School of Management, the qualifying exam and the score in national or international tests for admission to Business schools. The Senate, at its discretion, can also give admission to the MBA programme from the list of candidates of CAT conducted by the IIM system or an All-India Test. Shortlisted candidates need to take part in the document verification process and pay the fee
