In 2019-20, NIT Rourkela students received a total of 909 job offers. The students of the B.Tech programme received the maximum package of 42 LPA.

MTech, MTech(Res) and PhD students need to return the scholarship/fellowship amount received till date to the Institute if he/she discontinues the programme. This is not applicable to the students of other programmes.

You need to first appear for CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT and obtain a valid score. Applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria have to fill in the application form. Based on the eligibility criteria, candidates will be informed and called for Group Discussion and Interview. The final selection will be based on GP & PI conducted by the School of Management, the qualifying exam and the score in national or international tests for admission to Business schools. The Senate, at its discretion, can also give admission to the MBA programme from the list of candidates of CAT conducted by the IIM system or an All-India Test.
