If you have no specific interest in any subject, mass recruiters like tcs, ibm and infosys are the companies for you. (3 - 3.5 lpa)
If you have prepared for CAT and Analytics tests, target companies like Affine Analytics, ZS associates, Mu Sigma and a few other analytics companies. ( 4 - 6 lpa)
If you are really good at mechanical, you have a slight chance of cracking core mechanical companies like honda, 3dplm, thermax, etc ( I say slight chance because most of the time IDians are not allowed to sit for mecha companies because their curriculum is incomplete for mechanical profile) ( 4 - 7 lpa)
If you want to persue product design, the best option is to go for higher studies or do internships and learn practically important stuff, ID curriculm's theory are insufficient to crack Product design jobs.
If you are good at design and has a decent portfolio - newgen is the company for you, they hire ui/ux designers. They look for good sense for design and logical creativity in a candidate. ( 5 - 6 lpa)
If you want to persue career in UI/UX, you have a lot of offcampus scope. With a good portfolio and a good resume, your degree in design will aid you in landing good jobs. ( 4 - 12 lpa, it really depends on how well you sell your skills, studying in NIT has nothing to do with it)
Well, regarding the college's you have listed, it reflects that you are in south
Answering your question, I believe though nothing much can be said without analyzing the JEE mains paper 2020.
But your rank should be under 5k to get a seat, assuming you fall to be Other state in all these NIT's
Regarding this, I would recommend you to score above 220 to be on safe side.
Thank You
Hello..
After looking at the average package, facilities, education of the afore said institutes,I would recommend to join
1)NIT Suratkhal
2)NIT Warangal
3)NIT Nagpur
4)NIT Rourkela.
Hi
Well this is a tough decision and definitely you have to take this.
Firstly, if you want to study a Core Branch then definitely Mechanical Engineering will suffice. Then you must go ahead with Mechanical Engineering at NIT Kurukshetra.
If you want to study in a good, rank holder NIT then, NIT Rourkela is fit for you. But again, go with this option only and only if you want to learn Industrial Engineering or if maybe you don't have any kind of inclination towards any branch.
This choice making is tough because you are getting a Core and trending Branch in NIT Kurukshetra while a relatively lower desired Branch at one of the best NITs, i.e., NIT Rourkela. Think wisely and carefully.
Best of Luck.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
dear aspirant,
Many of the core heavyweights like CIL,HZL,Vedanta recruit students from mining engineering offering 7–10lpa package. Apart from these core giants there will be some mining companies like Rungata mines, and others offering something around 4.5- 5 lpa. Then there are analytics which would fetch good salary.
hope it helped.
Hello Harshita, if you have scored a CGPA of above 8.5 or 9, then the chances are very good that you will be able to change your branch. But it is also dependent on whether there are seats empty in that department or whether someone else is willing to change the branch with you or not. In that case, it becomes easy.
Hello,
NIT Rourkela as well as NIT Warangal both are veey good institutes. They are top ranked in the country.
I would prefer you to take ECE at NIT Rourkela as compared on NIT Warangal.
Because, it is the second best branch of the college after CS. The number of companies visiting and placements are also very good. The atmosphere of the college is excellent.
In Warangal the atmosphere is not very good especially in EC department it will take you some time to get adjusted. And the rules and regulations you need to follow are high in number. And the teachers are damn strict about them.
