I think you are mistaken with GATE score and GATE marks. But Considering this as your GATE score then it will be quite difficult to get into IIT's as especially the top 7 as the the closing score was 610 last year for IIT G.

It is quite good in the academic year 2017–18. And yes it is branch specific.

CS,EC,EE,EI,ME has got almost 95% placements. AVG package varies. Avg packages: CS-10.5lpa EC-7.5lpa EI-8lpa EE-7lpa ME-6.lpa

ID,MM,CH,BT,MN,FP,Civil would get 80–85%. Almost 6lpa for all.

Mscs, it would be around 4–5 lpa.
