every branch are equal in Jamshedpur. It is among the branches which start since the college start in 1960 .This is the only branch which has its own fest TECHNICA. You will enjoy a lot and have a lot to do in different technical team also .And if
Food processing is a new branch , only 3Yr old , so nothing much can be said about its placement statistics.
But in terms of faculty, Infrastructure and research facilities it is well equipped.
Newer branches should not be considered futile and useless, rather it should be taken
